Zoey generates a variety of PDF documents for businesses who use Zoey to run their businesses, from Order, Draft and Quote PDFs to Pick Lists. With so many leveraging these capabilities, we often are asked for further customization.
We recently released our latest updates that provide fresh ways to customize and organize your PDFs. Here’s 9 new options, five of which are global to the PDF options for Orders, Quotes and Drafts, and four that are specific to Pick Lists.
Global PDF Options
Our first batch works on a variety of PDFs, such as Orders, Quotes and Drafts.
1. Adjustable Logo
It’s a simple design adjustment, but because no two logos are the same dimensions, this will allow for more specific tweaks based on your business’ logo sizing and dimensions.
2. Adjustable Font Size
We all love to have control over the size of the font – some want to squeeze as much information on a page as possible, while others work in dim lighting and need larger print. Regardless of your situation, we’ve got you covered.
3. Move Address to the Right (on Modern Templates)
Address positioning on our modern PDF options now supports moving the address to the right size of the template, another simple, yet often requested feature now available.
4. Adding Line Item Numbers
Line item numbers can help businesses with more complex orders more easily get to, and communicate about, specific parts of an order by activating this option.
5. More Locations to Incorporate Custom Tet
Sometimes it’s helpful to communicate information in various parts of the PDF. To expand the flexibility, we’ve added locations where custom text can now be placed:
- Above Items Text Area
- Below Items Text Area
- Ending Message
These can be used in combination with previously added locations to ensure all the information you need to convey on PDFs such as Orders and Drafts are present.
Pick Lists PDF Enhancements
Our last four additions are specifically designed to enhance Pick Lists.
6. Show/Hide Virtual Items
Sometimes virtual items are used behind the scenes, but generally they’re not going to be items actually fulfilled in a warehouse. As such, you can hide them to reduce the clutter on the Pick Lists if not needed.
7. Add Printed Date to Footer
For better record keeping, you can have it add when the Pick List was printed to the bottom and add transparency to your processes.
8. More Ways to Sort Items
Different businesses have different preferences when it comes to how the Pick Lists are sorted; we’ve added new ways to sort for additional control over an important document for many of our customers.
9. Options to Render Package Quantity and Package Quantity Units
For Zoey stores leveraging our Package Quantity feature, you can render the information through that perspective as well.
