Sometimes you need to have more complex data available than just single values. With the launch of our new Matrix (Table) Attribute format, you can now accommodate a full data table for an Account or Contact.
Setting up a Matrix Attribute requires the establishment of a series of keys (lower case identifiers that can be used to facilitate data uploading) and labels (the human language equivalent that is displayed when displayed to end users on the Zoey Web, as well as to your team in the Zoey Admin).
These keys and labels are established as the columns of data that can be filled in by various rows. Once set up, data can be filled in via the Zoey Admin UI, as well as through a CSV import and API calls.
Settings allow you to decide if this is limited to internal data seen in the Zoey Admin, or if it’s publicly available to your customers in the Zoey Web. In addition, you can opt to allow your customers to make edits in the Account Manager page, or just be displayed for their information, based on how your business requires the data to be available.
Set up Matrix Attributes on an Account or Contact appear on the record under Notes on the Overview tab. From there you can make edits within the Zoey Admin UI as needed.
