Beginning October 1, 2024, Stripe requires oAuth to be used to authenticate instead of the current keys that are being used. Switching to this new authentication is easy:

1. In the Zoey Admin go to Settings->Payment Methods
   
   
2. Click the “Configure” button on the Stripe Payment Gateway row
   
   
3. Set the Mode to Test or Live – live means you are actually processing credit cards. Live is most likely what you want to choose.
   
   
4. Click the Connect button. A new window will open.
   
   
5. Install the Zoey Stripe App
   
   
6. Upon successful installation, close the window when prompted to do so.

That’s it! You are now using Stripe’s newest authentication.
